**Help Carl and Linda Rebuild After Hurricane Helene**

Dear friends and compassionate supporters,

We, Carl's sisters and family, are reaching out to you on behalf of our brother Carl and Linda Caristo, living just outside Asheville, in Fairview NC. Carl and Linda have been devastated by the recent impact of Hurricane Helene. This loving elderly couple have spent their lives traveling to art shows across the country to share their beautiful creations and support themselves. However, the hurricane has completely isolated them and left them in a dire situation.

Their home, on a mountain, perched 3,500 feet above sea level, has become isolated due to the catastrophic flooding and mudslides that have ravaged their property. The last quartermile of their private road leading to their home, has been washed away, and three major mudslides have made it impossible for anyone to reach them. Their small creek transformed into a raging river, uprooting electrical poles and leaving them without power. Tragically, both of their vehicles are now trapped, cutting them off from essential resources and assistance.

Carl and Linda are facing the daunting task of rebuilding the private road and restoring their access to the outside world—all of which falls on their shoulders. They need our help to cover the costs of materials, labor, and any additional support they may require to restore their home and livelihood.
