It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Sherline Lauredent a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She left this world far too soon on December 20, 2024, at the age of 43, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on April 7, 1981, Sherline was a light in the lives of everyone she met. Known for her boundless kindness, radiant smile, and unwavering devotion to her family, she was a true source of strength and love.

Above all else, Sherline was a devoted mother to Carlens Gaspard (Senior high school student at Long reach), whom she cherished beyond measure. Her love for her child was the foundation of her life, and she worked tirelessly to provide him. She will be remembered for Her generosity and compassion extended beyond her immediate family, as she was always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to anyone in need.

Sherline is survived by her child, Carlens Gaspard, her parents, Elguya Lamarre and Leis Lauredent. Her siblings, Guna Lauredent, Guymael Elien , Elien Guyinard, Danie Exantus, Peterson Gaspard, and Pierre Exantus, and a wide circle of friends and loved ones. She is now reunited in peace with her Grandfather Roland Lauredent.

A celebration of her life will be held on January 8, 2025, beginning at 3PM. Friends and family are welcome to join in honoring her memory and sharing stories of the joy she brought to all. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a Go fund me account to support her only son with the funeral’s expenses.

Though her time with us was far too short, Sherline leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
