Support Carlos in Recovering from the Eaton Fire
Donation protected

Dear friends, family, and community,
I am Suzanne Thomas, and was living in Altadena, until the wildfires made our house uninhabitable for the short term. Our house is still standing. Unfortunately, that isn't true for most of our family, neighbors and friends who reside in Altadena. Our family friend, Carlos Ponce, an independent contractor, veteran, and prison chaplain, lost his Altadena home, workshop (shown in the photo above), and all his tools in the Eaton Fire. Thankfully, he was able to evacuate himself and his truck safely (his family is safe, too), but the loss of his workshop and tools is devastating.
I know he is grateful for the overflowing love and support he has received from friends, family, and community during this difficult time. Altadena means so much to him as he has worked and lived here for over 22 years.. Thank you so much for helping Carlos take the next step toward rebuilding his life. Your contributions will help him through this challenging time. These funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid.
