Support Caroline's Second Chance at Disney

Caroline dream Disney Trip.

As most of y’all have seen or heard, Caroline’s first ever trip to Disney World has been far from magical and definitely not a dream come true. On the morning of November 24, 2024 Caroline spiked a fever and was complaining of severe abdominal pain. All symptoms screamed appendicitis. So we brought her to an ER here in Florida. After many tests and a fever of 102.5 we were told that her white blood cell counts were high and we were being transferred to a children’s hospital. Her respiratory panel came back for a mild case of RSV and further testing showed a UTI. Appendicitis was officially ruled out. We were discharged on 11/25/2024 and given the clear to enjoy our Disney vacation. Shortly after discharge we were called and given the shattering news that one of her blood cultures tested positive for bacteria in her blood forcing us to be re-admitted to the children’s hospital here in Florida for the remainder of her trip. Thus completely ruining her trip to Disney. She was unable to experience any of the Disney magic. We are not ones to ask for help. But we ask you to find it in your heart to help us bring her back soon to have her DREAM trip. Caroline is expected to make a full recovery.
