Support Carriacou's Hurricane Beryl Recovery with IWJ

Island Windjammers' vessel Diamant visits Carriacou, Petit Martinique, and the Grenadines as part of her regular weekly itinerary. These islands have been devastated by Hurricane Beryl. We are raising funds to privately deliver relief supplies with Diamant to Carriacou and possibly other islands in need. We don't yet know the full scope of what is needed and where. 100 percent of donations will go to the people of the islands, either as supplies or financial support. The company will cover all crew and fuel costs.

Diamant and her crew have made a real difference in similar past relief efforts, most recently in Dominica in 2017. We hope to be able to do the same again!

Diamant has been a part of the local community in both Grenada and St Vincent and the Grenadines since 2009. The crew and the company have close friends and close ties in all the islands. We are committed to using all money raised to purchase and deliver supplies to islands in need. We will be seeing the damage first hand in the coming days and plan to carefully assess what is needed most not just in the long term, but in the short term. We have a trusted and reliable shipping chain via our freight forwarder in Miami. We will be working with local governments to utilize disaster relief infrastructure that has been put in place to properly distribute supplies.
