Support Carrie's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Carrie was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer this month. With the aggressive nature of the protein HER2+, she has a long and difficult battle in front of her. She will bravely face six rounds of Chemotherapy, undertake a Mastectomy, and tackle 6 weeks of daily radiation treatment.

Carrie is a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She has also devoted the last 25 years to educating young people as an Elementary school teacher and Reading Specialist. She has always put others before herself. But now it is time that we lift her up, shower her with the same support she has shown her family and community.

The physical, emotional, and financial toll on Carrie’s family has been and will continue to be immense. Her sweet kids, Gabi and Chris, while having difficulties watching their mom struggle, are her biggest supporters. Unfortunately, Carrie’s husband, Miguel, was recently laid off from his 10+ year job, so the family is also navigating that difficulty. Any contribution that you can make to ease this tremendous burden is very appreciated.
