Support Casey Reynolds in His Battle with Two Cancers

Let's Help this Great Guy Fight Cancer - the Guy Who Helps Everyone Else: Our Brother, Casey Reynolds.

For those of you who haven't heard, Casey has had a very difficult year. In January, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and less than one week later, while recovering from surgery, he was diagnosed with throat cancer, a second primary cancer. Yes, he has two, non related cancers at once.

Casey is currently undergoing 7 weeks of chemo and radiation of his throat. Radiation of your throat is a very tough treatment. It affects your ability to eat, drink, swallow, and talk - and it is very painful and causes great fatigue. His doctor's are also keeping an eye on him post-surgery with his prostate diagnosis. It's a lot, to say the least. We are grateful that the doctor's are hopeful for a full recovery from both cancers, but not without taking this long, hard road first. He is already experiencing all of the negative effects of the radiation, especially with eating, swallowing, pain and fatigue.

Everyone who knows Casey, loves him. He has an authentic, unique, old-school charm. His kindness, generosity, and charitable heart knows no limits. He truly cares and prays for everyone he meets. Now it's Casey's turn for our care and prayers. Let's all support him as he goes through this difficult time.

As an independent painter and remodeler, missing any work has a negative financial impact. His ability to work has been severely cut back, however he is working the most he can around treatments, doctor's appointments, and low energy levels. This is why one of his nicknames is the "Hard Charger." He is tough, but we know the further into treatments he gets, work will continue to become less and less. We want him focused on healing and strength, not on financial worries of the ever increasing medical bills and just daily living expenses.
