Support Casey's Urgent Medical Journey

Hi, my name is Deborah and I have set up this fundraiser to assist someone who has been a dear friend to many of us for several decades and a fellow MHS Alumni. I've been friends with Casey since we were 7 years old, and I can count on one hand the number of times she has asked me for help. She is a hardworking, loving mother of 2 children and a very kind soul. Always willing to help others, sometimes even putting their needs before her own.

The past 15 years have been riddled with health challenges, a cancer diagnosis and multiple surgeries, including a hysterectomy in 2012. They have recently found a tumor and several cysts growing on her remaining ovary, and she is in urgent need of a Laparoscopic Oophorectomy surgery to remove it. A biopsy to determine if the tumor is benign or cancerous will be done after its removal and subsequent treatment determined at that time.

Surgery is set for Wednesday May 1st and of the $1.4 M needed, she has been able to raise $950k through loans and donations from friends and family members.
