Support Cash Cochran's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On May 17, VHS graduating senior Cash Cochran tripped on a log at the beach and fell onto a bonfire. He severely burned both his hands, up to his elbows. His dear friends immediately responded and got him to the fire department who then rushed him to Harborview. Cash has suffered third degree burns that require several surgeries and a 3-4 week hospital stay. He will need frequent visits to and from the hospital for follow-up appointments once he's discharged—well into the fall, when he goes off to college. While we are relieved to see Cash get the care he needs, expenses are accruing: transportation, ferry trips back and forth and above all, medical bills, with months of recovery ahead and the many expenses associated.
Cash has a strong mind and body and a tough fighting spirit. He has taken this trauma with all the strength he has and will overcome this. We are all so grateful for this supportive community of friends and family—thank you for continuing to support Cash as we move forward.
