Support Cassandra after the Floods

This GoFundMe is for my dearest sister Cassandra whose little cabin home of the last 5 years flooded multiple times during the wild storms here in Santa Cruz, California. Due to the damage, her landlords have decided to sell and she needs to evacuate in the next two weeks.

A great deal of her stuff was lost in the flooding, and as an (incredible) artist, this is especially devasting given that much of that damage included materials and original artwork that cannot be replaced. To add to the heartbreak, her sweet kitty companion, Maggie, escaped and has yet to be found. And now, on top of dealing with the trauma of this experience, she is left trying to find somewhere else to live in one of the most expensive rental markets in the country.

Many of you dear friends and family have asked if there is anything you can do and so I asked if it was ok to put this together for her. If you know my sister, you know that the very last thing she wants to do is ask for help. But also, if you know my sister, you know that she goes above and beyond to support those she cares about, through thick and thin. I am hoping we can lift her up now just as she would, and has, done for us.
