Support Cassandra Byers in Her Cancer Battle

Hi, my name is Lexi, and I am fundraising for my mom, Cassandra Byers. She was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer a little over a month ago and has since gone through a double mastectomy. She starts chemotherapy soon and may have to do spot radiation if the chemo is unsuccessful. While she does have insurance, it only covers a certain amount of her medical expenses.

My mom is one of the best people I know--of course, I may be slightly biased--and to see her struggling and stressing herself out about not being able to work is going to end up giving me an aneurysm. (Sorry, humor is how I cope). Cancer treatment is expensive, and I've lost count of how many times I've heard about or seen people having to choose between treatment (life) or bills, food, or other everyday expenses. It would mean the world to our family if we could raise money to support my mom during this difficult time.
