Support Cassandra Canaveral's Burn Recovery Journey
Donation protected
On November 10, 2024, our 16 year old daughter, Cici Canaveral, was injured at a bonfire explosion, resulting in second-degree burns to her hands, wrists, face, and scalp. She was medevac’d from Kodiak Island to Anchorage, where she continues to receive treatment in a burn center’s pediatric wing.
The road to recovery may be long, including future flights back and forth between Kodiak and Anchorage for follow-up care, as well as therapy to help regain strength and full mobility in her hands.
Cici will likely miss school for an undetermined amount of time, as she tries to adjust to this new way of life. Despite this, she has been keeping her spirits up with optimism and her characteristic sense of humor.
However great or small, any donations to help Cici with her medical expenses would be very much appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
