Support Cassandra's Farewell Celebration

Hi everyone,

My name is Cassata. I am the daughter of Cassandra Hammond-Watson.

A lot of people called her “Fats,” with love, of course.

Cassandra was such a SUPERSTAR. She literally shone on everyone that knew her. Though she was imperfect, that made her AUTHENTIC and PERFECT to God and so many others that knew her. She was loved by soooo many people.

Cassandra lived and loved hard until her very last breath.

She succumbed to an 8-year battle with Stage 3 Lung Cancer on November 19th, 2024, at 2:17 a.m., with each of her daughters holding her hands.

In late 2020, at the height of the pandemic, she made the tough decision of cashing in her previous insurance policy due to a financial setback.

She did her best to prepare us for this journey, including getting a new insurance policy. Due to the fact that it was more recently started, the claim was denied.

We are asking for some assistance with giving our queen a proper farewell celebration. Any help is greatly appreciated from anyone.
