Support Cassandra's Life-Saving (Gender Affirming) Care

Cassandra is an indigenous transgender woman with multiple disabilities. She is seeking help paying for medical expenses for a life-saving surgery she underwent recently. As a result of accessing the gender-affirming care that is necessary for her well-being and safety, she has incurred significant expenses. We are asking her community for support through donation and sharing of this campaign. Being a disabled indigenous transgender woman from a conservative area with little familial support has left Cassandra with fewer resources than she needs to survive. Cassandra needs help with expenses related to her recent care, including her surgeon’s fee, her transportation to the procedure, follow-up care, and help paying for her boarding near the facility. She gives as much as she can to her community and we hope to be able to help reciprocate that same immensecare she offers her community through this fundraising. We are seeking help over the next several months with: $4500 for her surgeon’s fee, $450 for her boarding and transportation fees, $350 for medications, medical supplies, and food.
