Support Catherine's House with Holiday Lanterns

2024 Christmas Lanterns

The South Point Ridge neighborhood is ready for its 5th annual holiday event and charity fundraiser. We are currently selling lanterns that will be displayed on Christmas Eve (12/24). In 2023, with your support, we were able to donate $1,500.00. We are looking to add to that year over year and raise over $2,000!

The lantern event

On December 24th, participating families will line the streets and, if desired, driveways too, with the lanterns we are selling. We will all light our lanterns in the evening. (No worries, there will be email reminders.) We will NOT be using candles with fire, but instead will be distributing battery-operated candles. They look just as good and have no fire risks!

We would like to have ALL orders in by Friday, December 15th!

1 lantern kit (= 10 lanterns = 10 flameless tea lights, sand, 10 bags) is $14.

Those who live on a corner lot are encouraged to get two kits (= 20 lanterns).

We accept online payments through this GoFundMe or cash at lantern pickup.

We will be doing lantern pickups at the pool area on designated dates to be sent out shortly.

Who are we raising money for?

This year, the money we raise by selling the lanterns – minus the material costs – will be donated to Catherine’s House in Belmont. The HOA board and Lowe's will be providing some materials/money to help cover the costs so that we are giving a donation of as much as we can.
