Support Cathy’s Family: Recovering from Fire Devastation

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

My family experienced an unimaginable tragedy when their home was completely destroyed in the recent Pasadena devastating fires. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but our family lost everything—clothes, furniture, personal belongings, and cherished family heirlooms—in a matter of minutes.

This home wasn’t just a building; it was a place where memories were made, milestones were celebrated, and love flourished. For years, it served as their sanctuary, a space that reflected their hard work and resilience. Now, it’s reduced to ashes, leaving them heartbroken and displaced.

Currently, we are trying to figure out their next steps. However, starting over from scratch is an overwhelming challenge.

This fundraiser has been created to help them with the following needs:

    •    Temporary housing costs as we search for a permanent home.

    •    Clothing, food, and other essentials to replace what was lost.

    •    Furniture and household supplies to rebuild a sense of normalcy.

    •    Assistance with rebuilding efforts or replacing uninsured losses.

Every contribution makes a difference, no matter how small. Donations will go directly to helping my family recover and start again. If a donation isn’t possible, sharing this fundraiser can help spread the word and provide them with the support they desperately need.
