Support Catrina's Journey to Healing and Hope
Donation protected
Nobody likes to ask for help, but our Aunt Catrina, a wonderful mother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many, has been fighting the good fight against cancer for the last 2 years and needs our financial support. She is proud and stubborn (in all the best ways), so this is a last resort.
Her treatment entails intense chemotherapy two times per month that is administered for 50+ straight hours which requires time off work for both treatment and recovery. While she tried to work through it, she is now at a point where going to work is not feasible while trying to manage the intense side effects and pain that she is experiencing. She is navigating the red tape of trying to go on short-term disability, having used up all of her paid vacation days to keep her income intact. Short-term disability means a significantly reduced income with mounting medical bills and household expenses. Her loving husband, Kurt, has also been taking time off to drive her to and from treatments, resulting in additional loss of income.
We are hoping to raise enough funds to give Catrina relief from the worry of keeping her home, managing her bills, and trying to stay on top of the extreme cost of cancer treatment. Every donation helps. We deeply appreciate any support you might be able to provide. We thank you, and please hold Catrina and her family in your heart.
