Update: we fell far short of our Giving Tuesday goal but the bills keep coming. The day before Christmas we saw three angels that had been left at Paterson pound and immediately sprung into action to get them. Two are seniors with no known vet care, so we are expecting some hefty bills once we get them to our vet next week. In addition to the ER visits and regular vet care the last few weeks for all the animals under our care. Please help if you can. Giving Tuesday is rapidly approaching and Cat’s Amazing (a local foster based rescue) is in need of monetary donations. We currently have over 95 cats under our care, several of whom are senior cats with ongoing medical needs; an overwhelming number of kittens that need to be fixed, vaccinated and recently we had a medical surgery emergency with the bill expected to be approximately 2.5k. If you can donate even 5, 10 or 25 it goes a long way to help us keep helping homeless cats. Everything is so expensive now as we all know so the money flies right out the door. This fundraiser will help us pay the ER from yesterday and help us provide needed services and support for the cats in our care currently for a few weeks…with hopefully no unexpected surprises.
