Support Cat's Horse Dixie after Surgery

Hi everyone, my name is Katie Michels and I would like to help my friend Cat Allen with the cost of care for her horse that is currently in the early stages of recovery after an emergency surgery at the top emergency clinic in the West. Cat is one of the strongest horse women I know and has shed blood, sweat, and tears for her thoroughbred, Dixie.

Last night, Dixie was showing signs of severe abdominal discomfort and was immediately taken to CSU. It was determined she needed life-saving surgery. Her colon was twisted and flipped. She also had a stomach impaction of over 40kg.

If Dixie is half as strong as her mom, she will make it through this. She is currently recovering well and has started eating. Unfortunately, this emergency has left Cat in need of help with the rising medical bill. Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated and will go towards Dixie’s medical bills.
