My name is Judy Yoon. I am setting up this go fund me page to support my nephew and niece after the sudden passing of their father, Min Yoon.

The proceeds will be put into a trust in their names (individually) to cover their future education, and whatever else comes up that we can’t anticipate.

Obituary for Min Yoon, known fondly as Mikey:

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Min Yoon, cherished by many as Mikey. He departed from us on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the age of 45. Mikey was not only a devoted son, brother, father, and friend but also an embodiment of kindness, generosity, and authenticity.

Born and raised in Houston, Mikey's magnetic personality and zest for life drew friends from all corners of the world. He possessed a remarkable ability to uplift others, brightening even the darkest of days with his infectious laughter and unwavering support.

Mikey's devotion to his family knew no bounds. He adored his parents, Yong and Young, and cherished moments spent with them, often treating them to memorable vacations and showering them with love. His bond with his sister Judy was unbreakable, a testament to the deep connection they shared.

To his children, Cayden and Mya, Mikey was the epitome of love and dedication. His pride and joy knew no bounds as he celebrated Cayden's achievements and delighted in Mya's every moment. He cherished his role as a father, finding immense fulfillment in sharing interests and creating lasting memories with his children.

Mikey's impact extended far beyond his immediate family, as he touched the lives of countless others. Whether as Uncle Mikey, bringing joy to children with his playful spirit and unexpected gifts, or as a loyal friend, always there to lend a listening ear and a helping hand, Mikey's presence left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

As we gather to celebrate Mikey's life, let us take comfort in the memories he leaves behind and the legacy of love and kindness he imparted to us all. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
