Support Celia Diaz Rosales' Final Journey

Para aquellos que no lo saben, mi abuela Celia Díaz Rosales ha estado luchando contra el cáncer de ovario en etapa IV durante los últimos dos años. Desafortunadamente, a las 7:30 pm del 10 de julio, mi abuela perdió la pelea.

Nacida en 1953, emigró sola desde Colima, México, a través de los estados a la edad de 14 años en busca de una vida mejor. Después de 4 hijas y 4 nietos, Celia descubrió a la edad de 68 años que tenía cáncer de ovario en etapa IV. Hace un año, fue declarada libre de cáncer después de muchos ciclos de quimioterapia. Hace 3 meses nos informaron que el cáncer había regresado y más fuerte que nunca. Mi pequeña abuela solo podía soportar tanta quimioterapia ya que mide 4'9" con osteoporosis y escoliosis. A pesar de sus desafíos, decidió luchar. Ella siguió luchando hasta el último minuto. Ella verdaderamente fue un gran ejemplo del espíritu humano indomable.

Les pedimos ahora con humildad que por favor Aiden de cualquier manera si pueden ayudar a cubrir los costos del funeral y los servicios conmemorativos. For those who don’t know, my grandmother Celia Diaz Rosales has been battling with Stage IV Ovarian cancer for the past two years. Unfortunately, as of 7:30 pm on July 10th, my grandmother has lost the fight.

Born in 1953, she migrated from Colima, Mexico on her own across the states at the age of 14 in search of a better life. After 4 daughters and 4 grandchildren, Celia discovered at the ripe age of 68 that she had Stage IV Ovarian Cancer. A year ago, she was declared cancer free after many cycles of chemotherapy. 3 months ago, we were informed the cancer had come back and stronger than ever. My little grandmother could only handle so much chemo as she stands 4’9” with osteoporosis and scoliosis. Despite her challenges, she decided to fight. To the last minute, she continued to fight. She truly was an great example of the indomitable human spirit.

We ask now with humility to please help in anyway if you are able to help cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services.
