Support Charles Davis' Family

It is with a heavy heart that I share that Charles Davis passed away on December 12, 2021.
Charles was truly one of a kind. Charles has three wonderful children, Dominque, Noah and Charles Jr (CJ). Charles was able to proudly watch Dominique go to college and enter the workforce. CJ is currently in college and Noah is a senior in high school. The loss of their father's financial support will make paying for college (and the related expenses) very difficult.
During his illness, Charles worried about his family struggling financially. One of Charles' last requests was for support for his sons. It was so important to him to ensure that they attended and graduated college.
We want to make sure that their amazing mother, Sonji, does not struggle financially as she continues to parent Noah and CJ on her own. Your generous donation will mean that Charles’ two beloved sons can get a college degree and fulfill their dad’s wish. 100% of the money collected will go to support Charles' family and turned over to Sonji.
A little bit more about Charles…
As a young man, he worked in the Special Forces and with Psychological Operations in the United States Army, from which he was Honorably Discharged in October 1995. After working in sales for years, Charles decided to attend law school later in life. During law school, he was awarded the Black Gavel Award by the Black Law Students Association for his ability to advocate justice.
Charles was proudly admitted to the Illinois Bar in December 2018 and immediately opened his own law firm. In the few years that he was a lawyer, he had more passion than most lawyers do in a lifetime. Charles had a unique understanding of people and his legal acumen went far beyond book knowledge. While cancer cut his legal career far too short, he was able to help many clients by using both his legal knowledge and street smarts.
Charles was charismatic, charming, gracious and big-hearted. It seemed that he knew everyone and everyone knew him. He made friends wherever he went, was the life of the party, and saw the best in everyone. Charles’ death leaves a giant, unfillable hole in my heart, and certainly in the hearts of his family and friends.
