"Eternally grateful to each and everyone. The generous contribution by You helped purchase essentials like food, water, clothing and work items.

Currently have temporary housing but it will come to an end. In great need of a permanent home. If you know or have knowledge of a home (sell/rent) please let me know."

An update from Cousin Charles 8/18:

He asked us to share with all of you that he remains feeling uplifted and honored by your support. He wants you all to know that he is trying to remain present and has temporary shelter with a shower and bed. At designated locations there is food, water, and a few hours of internet that he is able to access. Mahalo to you all for your continued pule and support.

Charles has been so blessed and lifted by your support in financial help, prayers and words of encouragement! He remains displaced but has his trademark positive attitude of gratitude. We are grateful there will be FEMA assistance, but as some of you may know, it takes awhile to apply for and receive, does not cover everything, and is often in the form of a loan. In consideration of the very long road to rebuild ahead of him we are extending the fundraiser and increasing our goal. Charles is far too humble to ask himself, so his Ohana is asking for him!

Our beloved ohana member Charles Nahale, a gifted musician and friend to all, has completely lost his home and belongings in the Lahaina wildfires on Maui. He could really use your assistance during this difficult time and any amount would be greatly appreciated. Charles beams with the aloha spirit more than anyone we know, please kokua. Mahalo.
