Support for Charles Pinkston’s Funeral Arrangements

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Charles Pinkston, who departed this life peacefully on the morning of December 28th, 2024, at the age of 74. Charles was a retired Navy veteran, a loving father to Lashantai, and a cherished grandfather to three grandchildren.

Charles spent the last 3.5 years at Bonterra Transitional Care and Rehabilitation, where he was surrounded by care, love, and a sense of community. Over the past four years, he courageously battled dementia. Recently, after being hospitalized for pneumonia, he suffered multiple strokes, a heart attack, and respiratory issues, leading to his passing while in hospice care.

Charles’s family holds deep love and respect for him and wishes to honor his memory with grace and dignity. We are raising funds to assist with funeral and burial arrangements to ensure he receives the farewell he deserves.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the East Point Chapel of Gus Thornhill’s Funeral Home. Any support, no matter the amount, would mean the world to our family during this difficult time.
