Support Charley and Nancy's Medical Journey

Several of Charley Howard and Nancy Buchan's friends have asked for an easy way to contribute to their needs. I am happy to set this GoFundMe account up for them.

Most of you know that Charley had surgery in November for kidney cancer. They removed the tumor and half of a kidney. That was quickly followed by a procedure to put in heart stints. Awesome that he got through that.

Charley talked Nancy into going to the doctor when he had his follow-up doctor visits since they were in the US for a wedding in May. Once Nancy saw the heart doctor, they checked her into the hospital immediately. She needed to have a valve replaced in her heart and her aorta repaired. That surgery was on May 22nd. She is making progress and will likely be released soon.

That is two huge emergency medical events for them in just a few months time. We are all so grateful that they are still with us!

As you might expect, however, the bills are mounting. They have Medicare A and B but that does not cover medications. They will both need money to cover food and living expenses there until she can come home. As a musician, the social security coverage is not much and they are unable to work to supplement their income... So you can see there is a need for funds now and for the months to come.

I know many of you want to contribute. Please do whatever you can. No amount is too small or too large.
