Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart and a hope for compassion. My name is Goal Chan, and for the past 11 years, I have had the privilege of serving you at our small, family-run Chinese restaurant, "Yen China Cafe." Our restaurant has not just been a business, but a home where we shared laughter, stories, and our love for authentic Chinese cuisine.

However, a sudden twist in our story has brought us to an unforeseen crossroad. Recently, I was diagnosed with a serious infection, one that poses not only a threat to my health but has also forced our beloved restaurant to close its doors temporarily. This situation has been a double blow, impacting both my personal health and our family's means of support.

As I undergo treatment, which is likely to continue for several weeks and hopefully not months, our ability to reopen "Yen China Cafe" remains uncertain. The medical expenses, coupled with the loss of income from our restaurant, have put us in a challenging situation.

This is why I am turning to you, our cherished community, for support. Your help can provide us with the means to cover my medical expenses, support my family during this challenging time, and eventually, help us reopen the doors of "Yen China Cafe."
