Support Chelsea so she can be with Jacob

My sister Chelsea needs your help. So many of her beautiful family and friends have reached out asking how they can help and now we have a way. Chelsea needs your help so that she can spend time with her son Jacob to help guide him back. Jacob, her strong, loving, kind and happy 21 year old son who needs his mum now more than ever before.

Jacob has been in ICU since 17th August fighting bacterial meningitis. It is a fast acting and nasty illness. His heart, lungs, liver and kidneys have been in failure. He is on a ventilator, dialysis and has had brain surgery. His heart is recovering and the doctors and nurses are working so hard. They have told us that they can't believe he is still with us and that he is a medical marvel. There are glimpses of hope appearing. It is going to be a long, long journey to try and guide him back to us.

He is strong and brave and knows that family is everything.

As a family we have appreciated beyond measure all the love and support that everyone has shown.

As you can imagine, Chelsea isn't working right now so that she can spend her time with Jacob. Those who know Chels also know that she had just left her job as a Swim Instructor and was to take on an Early Childhood Educator traineeship. This is now on the backburner while she supports her son. Anything that you donate will be used to support Chelsea to be there for Jacob.
