Support Chelsea through her battle with Cancer.
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Shannon, the older sister of Chelsea.
Chelsea has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 uterus cancer, which has now spread to the lymph nodes in her pelvis.
Since diagnosis 4 weeks ago, Chelsea has had to stop work indefinitely. Within this 4 week period, she has already had to under take multiple scans, blood tests, operations and many many doctors appointments. Big decisions surrounding fertility have also had to be made, with no clear sign what the future may hold when wanting to start a family.
Chelsea will start her first round of chemotherapy on the 9th August, under taking 6 rounds across a period of 11 weeks which will then determine whether more surgery or radiation is required. Chemotherapy will start up again after this for a further 6 cycles. Chelsea will be undertaking chemo 7 days per month, including a 5 day hospital stay each time.
It has been confirmed due to the aggressive nature of this tumor, that chemotherapy will be intense and will definitely cause Chelsea to lose her hair. Chelsea is looking at buying herself a wig which can be upwards of $3,000.
In addition to the above cost, being unable to work is going to cause additional financial stress which we would love to try to alleviate.
Any donation no matter how small will make the world of difference and take some stress off through this hard time.
