Support Chelsea's Family in Chris's Farewell

Christopher Lee Kirk August 02, 1991 - August 10, 2024.

Christopher lived a very vibrant life. When it came to Chris, he loved fiercely and with his whole heart. Unfortunately, Chris had demons he battled every day. Chris tragically lost his battle on August 10. He was at his friend's house and they thought he was sleeping. One of his friends noticed that he looked a little blue and realized he wasn't breathing. They performed CPR but when the paramedics got there he had no pulse. Unfortunately by the time that they got to Golden Valley his heart had stopped for 12 minutes. They life-lighted him to Centerpoint in Independence where they helped him the best they could. The doctor informed us that they didn't have a Neurologist there that could help Chris so they were life-lighting him to Research. They ran tests on him all night and the following morning they determined that he was brain dead. Chris's suffering was finally over and he could finally be at peace. Chris was very loved by his family and friends and will be missed dearly.
