Support Cheryl Barath's Medical Journey

Hello, My name is Megan Coleman and I have started this go fund me on behalf of the Barath family to raise money for Cheryl Barath.

Cheryl has been in the hospital since April 22, 2024. She has been put on a ventilator and taken off a few times, currently has a trach and has flown from uniontown hospital to Ruby where she has been ever since. She has had numerous major surgeries and currently has 1 "sleeping" kidney and 1 dead kidney and is on dialysis.

As if this wasn't enough devastation, while fighting for her life, her mother passed away as well and she has yet to hear the news.

With Cheryl's kids living in Brownsville and Bentleyville I ultimately wanted to make this go fund me to help them pay for gas, food, and medical expenses as the life flight alone is estimated to cost anywhere between 10k-20k.

If you are able to donate anything to help lighten their load it would be greatly appreciated.

update 5/7 from Becki:

Something neurological happened last night where my mom wasn't responding to the nurses. They did CT scans, said it wasn't a stroke, and do not know why she just stopped wiggling her toes and squeezing the fingers. They are doing an MRI sometime today also to see if they can find anything.

Becki said Cheryl had another surgery today to fix a bowel leakage.
