Support Cheryl Narron's Family

Donation protected
Our KWSC family wants to support one of our amazing agents Cheryl Narron and her family. Her daughter Savannah was recently diagnosed with Idiopathic Spontaneous Intracranial Hypotension. Here is Savannah's story told by Savannah herself:

Ya’all, life is so freaking fragile. On September 12th, I woke up like any normal day and started to get ready for work. As I was getting ready, a headache started to set in. I took some ibuprofen and continued on with my day but the pain just got worse. By the time I realized I should go home, I could barely drive, I had to call my mom to be on the phone with me the whole drive home. I barely made it through my door before passing out on my bathroom floor. My mom drove up to Portland to pick up my dog from daycare and take me to the emergency room where they gave me medication for a migraine. I then spent the next 3 days being barely alive. I couldn’t sit up to eat or drink, it hurt too much to open my eyes, I just laid there, incapacitated. It was 5 days before I was able to prop myself up enough to brush my teeth. It was a week before I had enough strength for my mom to help me in and out of the bathtub to bath myself. I was completely helpless. I couldn’t stand long enough to help take care of myself, some days I could barely talk, some days all I could do was nod my head to communicate. And on days I could communicate, all I did was scream because the pain was so bad. I felt like I was dying. We went to the ER a second time where they treated me like I still had a migraine. They discouraged me from getting more tests because I was young and they didn’t want to find what they weren’t looking for. 3 more weeks went by with the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt, I didn’t want to be alive. We finally went to OHSU where they did the necessary tests and they found I have a spinal leak so when I stand up, there’s not enough liquid floating my brain, so it sags. I didn’t have a major accident, I didn’t seriously hurt myself. All I did was go to bed like any normal night and woke up to my entire life upside down. Life’s fragile, please don’t treat it like you’ll love forever, don’t have regrets, don’t hold grudges. You never know if you’ll wake up one day and be completely helpless, unable to take care of yourself. Life’s fragile.

As the Narron family navigates this new diagnosis, Cheryl has really lived the KW mission of putting family before business and stepping out of your real estate business completely for the time being. We are thankful for the KWSC family members who have stepped in to help with her business and now we are asking you to help her family. We know the future will consist of many doctors appointments, travel, surgery, and recovery. Let's wrap our arms around Savannah, Cheryl, and the whole family during this difficult time and provide additional financial support.
