Support Chester's Cardiac Emergency

17-YEAR-OLD CHESTER NEEDS URGENT LIFE-SAVING HELP

Chester is one of the lights of our life. He has the sweetest little face and the cutest big personality and is so inspirational to our family.

But now our sweet Chester is not doing well, and at a recent vet visit, it was discovered that he has a lot of fluid in his chest!!!

The fluid was sent out, and I was told he urgently needs a cardiac ultrasound to diagnose what is wrong with his heart so we know what medication will help keep him alive!

The cardiac estimate is $794 + about $50 for medication + about $30 in GFM fees = $874 I urgently need to raise!

I was giving sub-q fluids for early kidney disease, but until he is on heart medication, I have to stop the fluids, or it could put him into heart failure. So this is very, very time-sensitive! We must get Chester to the cardiologist as soon as possible!

My brother Max and I just lost our family member Lucky, a beloved senior rescue, and we are in mourning . As I write this, I’m extremely ill as I battle a non-contagious illness for the last 3 years that I don’t have the money to get medical care for, but the rescues in our family come first. Adoption is for life, and we are sticking with our family of rescues through whatever comes their way.

We lost all our savings in the pandemic, and then I got sick, but this could happen to anyone, God forbid, and we rely on the compassion and generosity of others with hearts of gold. We need money to save Chester’s life—will you please help us?

We are beyond grateful to be the lifelong caregivers of this family of rescues. It is a blessing and a privilege to take care of them, and we have centered our whole lives around them, sacrificing everything and always putting them first. But we can’t do this without your help.
