Support Chewie's Recovery and Pizza Quest

Hello friends and neighbors in the Fennville/Douglas/Saugatuck bubble and beyond. We are Heather, John, Scotty and Katie and we are wholebellied the biggest Pizza Quest fans in the galaxy. More importantly, we love what Pizza Quest continues to do for our schools and communities.

On Thursday, July 25, Nick "Chewie" Chard was on his way to work when he was in a pretty terrible accident. He sustained a Vertebral Burst Fracture in his lower L2 (broken back). Fortunately, he does have movement/feeling in his legs and feet. He's currently awaiting surgery in the trauma ward (scheduled for Tues) and presumably has a long recovery ahead of him. He has very few scrapes and cuts thanks to the airbags, but his poor back just couldn't handle that impact.

Chewie is not just a pretty face and the best pizza artist of all time. He is also a husband, father of 3, and a new business owner that continues to enthusiastically feed our communities and make us all smile. The revenue and product his business will lose from this accident (not to mention medical bills) could be devastating if we don't help. We ask as pizza lovers and human beings for your help.
