Support Chief Mike Turner and family
Donation protected
My uncle, Chief Mike Turner, has been seriously injured in a vehicle accident while on duty. On 12/15/22, a driver crossed the opposite lane and struck him head-on. Currently, he is in stable condition, however, the road to recovery is expected to be substantially long for both him and his family.
He has many injuries and remains in a lot of pain. He has two fractures in his skull, on the forehead, and one on his orbital bone above his eye, resulting in his eyes being both bruised and swollen shut. He has a brain bleed that they are closely monitoring. He has multiple broken ribs, a fractured hand, and a shattered hip in skeletal traction. He is scheduled to have surgery on Monday, 12/19, on his hip. After this major surgery, he will begin a lengthy rehabilitation process for all of these injuries.
My uncle has protected and served our community for 20+ years. On top of his growth within law enforcement, he is a loving husband to his wife, Jessica, and father to two boys, Michael & Cole. This family's journey to recovery is just beginning, and we hope this will help with some of the financial burdens from medical expenses they will endure.
