Support Chief Sage's Final Journey
Donation protected
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Chief Sage (Cummins) Crazybull. At such a young age, his life was tragically cut short, and our family is heartbroken by this unexpected loss.
About Chief Sage (Cummins) Crazybull
Chief Sage was a young man of great strength, wisdom, and compassion. He carried his family's legacy with pride, and his kind heart and joyful spirit were a gift to all who knew him. He was deeply devoted to his loved ones and his community, always offering support and laughter wherever he went. Though his time with us was too short, his impact will be felt for years to come.
Final Resting Place
Chief Sage will be transported from Albuquerque, New Mexico, to the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota, where he will be laid to rest in Clearwater Cemetery at Crazy Horse Canyon, next to his grandfather, Chief Phillip Crazybull, his mother, Tatum Cummins, and his sister, Skye Cummins. This resting place reflects his deep connection to his family and heritage, ensuring that he will always be surrounded by those who loved him most.
Why We Need Your Support
While some of the funeral costs will be covered by the tribe, there are several expenses that remain uncovered. We are raising funds to help cover these remaining costs, which include:
- Transport from Albuquerque to Rosebud
- Burial expenses at Clearwater Cemetery
- Medicine Man and traditional services
- Memorial service
Your contribution, whether through a donation or by sharing this page, will help us ensure that Chief Sage receives the respectful farewell he deserves. Every donation will directly ease the financial burden on our family and ensure that the traditions and rituals that were important to him are honored.
