The sequel to the documentary Women delves into the lives of Ukrainian children who fled their homeland with their mothers because of the war. Three years have passed since they began adapting to life in the United Kingdom. How has the war changed them? What have they lost, and what have they gained in their new home?

CHILDREN is not just about war or emigration. It is a story about a generation growing up between two worlds, learning to find its place in a new reality while holding on to its roots.

Through the stories of Maria, Sonia, Mania, and Timofiy, the film explores how children experience emigration, build new lives, integrate into society, and dream about their futures. By comparing their journeys with those of their mothers, the film offers insight into the strength of family bonds, cultural identity, and the resilience of young minds.

We’ve completed the film, and now we want the world to hear their voices.

Продовження документального фільму «Жінки» розповідає про життя українських дітей, які разом із матерями були змушені покинути рідну країну через війну. Минуло три роки з початку їхньої адаптації у Великій Британії. Як війна змінила їх? Що вони втратили, а що здобули у новому домі?

«Діти» — це не лише про війну чи еміграцію. Це історія про покоління, яке росте між двома світами, вчиться знаходити своє місце в новій реальності і не забуває своє коріння.

Через історії Марії, Соні, Мані та Тимофія фільм досліджує, як діти переживають еміграцію, будують нові життя, інтегруються в суспільство і мріють про майбутнє. Зіставляючи їхній досвід з досвідом їхніх матерів, стрічка пропонує поглянути на силу сімейних зв’язків, культурну ідентичність та дитячу адаптивність.
