Our Mission

We’re dedicated to providing equine therapy to as many people as possible, but our current facilities simply cannot accommodate everyone who needs our help. There is a long waitlist, and many families cannot access this vital service because we don’t have the space, horses, or resources to expand.

We urgently need to raise $150,000 to meet the demands of our programs and facility maintenance to provide equine therapy to more children, families, and communities.

How Your Contribution Will Make a Difference

Facility Expansion and Improvements ($50,000)

We need to expand our physical space to accommodate more therapy sessions. Your donation will help us build and improve our facilities, including barns, fields, riding rings, etc., to create a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Horse Care and Additional Horses ($50,000)

Our therapy horses are the heart of what we do, but they require ongoing care, food, medical attention, and training. Your contribution will help us meet our horses' needs and bring more horses into our program to ensure no child is left on the waitlist.

Rider Subsidies ($50,000)

At Great and Small, we believe in making therapy accessible. That’s why we cover 70% of the costs for riders, ensuring that families can receive the help they need regardless of their financial situation. Your donation will help fund these subsidies, allowing us to continue providing support to families who would otherwise be unable to afford this life-changing therapy.

Why This Matters

Equine therapy is a recognized, powerful tool that helps children with a variety of challenges, including autism, physical disabilities, PTSD, and more. The bond formed between a child and a horse can improve emotional regulation, motor skills, and social interaction in ways traditional therapy cannot.
