Support Children's Education at Emmanuel Day Care

Hello! My name is Natalie Travisano and I'm currently volunteering with IVHQ in Arusha, Tanzania at a small day care called Emmanuel Child Care Center. The children range from three months all the way up to six years of age. I am now entering the halfway mark of my eight week journey with a full heart as I have grown to love and cherish every child I teach and care for daily.

The director and founder, Grace Mwambo has a vision in which she dreams to extend her center into a primary and even secondary school. Each day, the children arrive with smiles on their faces, eager to learn everything from english, to math and even geography. However, they lack the supplies and material needed for adequate education. These children do not come from financially stable backgrounds and oftentimes spend more time worrying about their next meal rather than if they have a notebook and pencil for school.

I have started this fundraiser in hopes of giving back enough school supplies, educational resources and even clothing to last beyond the four weeks I have left here. Any donation is greatly welcomed and appreciated as even a single dollar goes a long way here:)
