Support Chloe's Future in Memory of Phil
Donation protected
On June 27, Phil Cavell unexpectedly passed away at just 52 years old. Phil was a talker, a networker, a mensch with a kind soul who always tried to find the humor in any situation. Above all else, anyone who was fortunate enough to know Phil, knew that his world revolved around his pride and joy, his 8 year old daughter, Chloe.
On June 22, Chloe bravely boarded the bus for her very first summer at sleepaway camp. Heartbreakingly, there was no way of knowing that she had said goodbye to her father for the very last time and he would pass away just 5 days later. There is never an easy way to convey tragic news to a loved one, particularly to a child who is 2 hours away at a brand new camp that she is settling into; but both Chloe and her mother Melissa have handled this awful situation with bravery and grace. Chloe is very fortunate to have a wonderful support system in her mother, her close-knit family, her friends, and her new summer family, who have all ensured that she has been surrounded with as much love as possible in the days since Phil's passing.
While she has a huge amount of support right now, she is also going to be moving forward with a large hole in her life, not only emotionally, but also financially. Many people have reached out to ask how they can help, and we, Melissa's close friends (and the mothers of Chloe's lifelong besties), can think of no better way to honor Phil's memory than to donate toward the future education of the one person who he treasured the most in the world, his daughter Chloe. Not only will your gifts be used to help offset educational costs down the road, they will also serve as a warm reminder for Chloe of just how loved she is and how special her father was.
Thank you in advance for support and kind words. Your generosity will make a significant impact on Chloe's future and honor Phil's memory in a meaningful way
Sincerely,
Amanda, Felicia, Shoshana, and Lana
