At the approval of Chloe and of Mitch’s families, we are relaunching the GoFundMe page to create awareness and support around Chloe’s challenging journey to recovery. Chloe’s spine injury and dealing with the unexpected loss of her beloved fiancé Mitch, has drastically changed Chloe’s way of life.

On Sunday, the 11th of August 2024, Chloe and her fiancé were involved in a devastating car accident near Mount Marlow in the Whitsunday Region of Queensland.

Their vehicle was struck head-on by another car that slid into their lane during heavy rain, causing them to be pushed off a bridge.

Chloe is currently in hospital, with significant spinal injuries and is facing a long, painful road to recovery.

The horrific accident has left Chloe in a serious physical state and with the unbearable reality of the loss of her future with her fiancé Mitch.

Your generous contributions will help cover:

• Travel and Relocation Costs: Chloe will need support to cover travel expenses from Townsville Hospital to Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast where she currently resides and then relocating herself and her Labrador, Koda onto to her & Mitch's hometown of Wangaratta, where she can be with her family who can support her through rehabilitation.

• Medical Expenses: Chloe’s recovery will require ongoing medical care, including further surgeries, physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

• Living Expenses: As Chloe faces the challenge of not being able to work, she will need assistance with everyday expenses such as rent, utilities, and to replace basic necessities that were destroyed in the crash.

• Emotional Support and Counselling: Chloe will require continuous emotional support to cope with the trauma of the accident and the overwhelming grief of having to returning home, without Mitch.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping Chloe rebuild her life.
