Support Chris Carter after Auto Accident

Hello! My name is Jesse Pittman, I hope to raise funds for Chris Carter. Chris and I work together for the Department of Public Safety at the Ohio State University. Chris started with the Department in March of 2024. Chris made an immediate positive impression on the Department. It was clear from the start of Chris's employment; he would be a tremendous asset to the Department of Public Safety. Unfortunately, Chris was involved in a serious car accident while commuting to work in early May. The Columbus Fire Department had to cut open Chris's vehicle to extract him from the wreckage. Chris sustained serious injuries requiring surgery, a four-week hospital stay and months of on-going rehabilitation. Chris has a promising future, and my department is eager for his return. Chris's doctors project he can return to work August 11th. Chris has been on unpaid leave since the accident. Chris has had to pay out-of-pocket to maintain his insurance benefits. Even with insurance, Chris's medical bills are substantial. Additionally, Chris will have to replace his vehicle as it was totaled.

Chris is not only a current employee of The Ohio State University, he is also a former Ohio State University Football player 2011 - 2014. Chris was part of the 2014 Ohio State National Championship Team. Chris graduated in 2018 from OSU with his Bachelor of Arts degree, in Communications.
