***UPDATE***
Chris is recovering slowly and still unable to work, any help would be greatly appreciated. With Christmas coming and 2 young boys at home your help would greatly be appreciated to help make their holiday a little brighter. Nancy is currently working and is trying to keep up with the medical bills and every day expenses.
from Nancy....Please continue to share our go fund me with friends and family. Zero income coming in for Chris is going to hit us hard with all of the incoming bills we have and just daily life. unfortunately he doesn’t qualify for any type of disability or unemployment so we are solely relying on what God provides for our family for a short period of time. I have been had a yard sale set up for the last 2.5 weeks and sadly it hasn’t been as successful as I had hoped. I’m trying to be creative to bring in funds while he is home and take care of him and everything else. I am back on the schedule for work this week but again that is still only half of our normal income and my hours have been cut by 10 hours a week. I knew this though with the new day position I took 2 months ago that it was a possibility. One day at a time, we will not loose faith and we will make it through this.
Chris is recovering from his heart surgery and is doing good. He has a LONG road ahead of him and will be out of work for up to 6 months, Nancy has taken a leave without pay from her job to help take care of Chris.
If you could please send prayers and if you could donate anything to help this beautiful family, it would greatly be appreciated.
You know those
posts that grab your
attention seeing a
family that could
use a little help?
This is a call to
action, and - hope I
can count on you to
offer a little support
to one of my
longtime friends,
Chris McCormick
his wife Nancy, and
their blended family
of children. Chris
and I met years ago
and have walked
through life's crazy
adventures,as well
as diverse trials and
challenges. This is
by far the bingest
battle yet.
On October 4th,
Chris will be
undergoing a
bicuspid valve
replacement and
aortic aneurysm
surgery,as well as
an ablation. This is
the culmination of
years of heart
related issues
diagnosed for the
first time in the
winter of 2007,
revealing he was in
congestive heart
failure.
Funds raised will be
used to cover
mortgage
payment(s), utilities,
etc. Please consider
donating to this
amazing family and
my best friend.
Every dollar will help
and greatly impact
Chris and Nancy in
the most incredible
way. It'll take some
of the stress and
pressure off of their
minds, so Chris can
recuperate without
concern.
Thank you in
advance for
stepping up to
assist Chris and his
family during this
difficult time. Your
help will speak
volumes about the
way we all need to
rally around those
struggling.
Anything will definitely help, thank you Robert Hicks and Brenda Pratt
