Support Chris Sullivan's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Laurel Christiansen, a close family friend of the Sullivan’s.
Chris Sullivan is the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back. He leads a life of constant and continual service. He is a scoutmaster in his community. If he sees a need he will help you on the spot. He is always looking for ways to bless anyone and everyone. He is an inspiration to many around him holding up an “I believe in you” sign while running marathons, around town, at Eagle court of Honors, anywhere he could make a difference. He was inspired by an incredible man Ben Lyme who started the I believe in you movement that has brought hope to so many. Chris is a builder of people. He wants to let others know that he believes in you. He is one of the best human beings I know. Chris would be embarrassed if he knew I was posting this. He is not one to ask for help as he is the one who is always providing it. Last year Chris was experiencing a running injury on his hip. He went to the doctor and they found he had Adrenal adenocarcinoma near his appendix. He had surgery to take out his appendix which was successful and Chris was given the green light that he was cancer free. Recently, they discovered that the cancer was at a different stage than what the doctors had originally thought. He is now at stage 2a. And will now need to start Chemotherapy. Chris’s family is doing all they can to get by. However, the medical bills keep piling up and they are in for another round of fighting the dreaded “C” word. They are needing to pay medical bills and to help them stay afloat. They have exhausted all their savings from already fighting. They have been trying to do all they can to not ask for help. This is a family that has never thought twice about helping others. They are ones that are usually the ones donating to go fund me. Chris would be making light of this situation and finding something hilarious to say about all this. However, I think the best thing I could say at this point is,“I BELIEVE IN YOU!”
