Support Chrissy Croonquist's Road to Recovery

Dear Friends, Family, People who know or may not know Chrissy and Kind-hearted Souls.

I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful and faith filled spirit to

share the story of someone incredibly dear to my heart and the hearts of her

long-standing nursing colleagues from Pascack Valley Hospital: Her name is

Chrissy Croonquist. As many of you may already know, Chrissy recently suffered

a severe head injury that has profoundly impacted her life and the lives of those

who she loves.

On Wednesday August 14, 2024, Chrissy experienced a devastating accident that

resulted in severe head trauma. She was rushed to HUMC, NJ where she

underwent emergency surgery to address her critical injuries. She is currently

on life support and fighting for her life. The road to recovery is long and

uncertain, and Chrissy faces significant challenges in the weeks and months

ahead.

Before this tragic event, Chrissy was a beacon of light in all of our lives. Her love,

kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit have touched countless people.

Whether it was through her selfless commitment to her family and friends , her

dedication to her nursing career and the patients she cared for in Labor and Delivery, her warm presence in every gathering, or simply being there for a friend or family member in need, Chrissy has always been someone who brightens the world around them. She is truly a joyous soul with a tender heart. She is loved by all who meet her.

Now, it is our turn to support Chrissy as she navigates this incredibly difficult

period. As Chrissy begins her journey to recovery, she will need extensive

rehabilitation, ongoing treatments, and support for everyday living expenses.

The financial burden on Chrissy and her family is and will be overwhelming, and

we want to do everything we can to ease that burden and help them focus on

healing.

Our goal is to raise 25,000 dollars to cover medical expenses, rehabilitation, and

any additional costs that arise during this challenging time. Every donation, no

matter the size, will make a significant difference and provide a glimmer of hope

in these tragic times.
