Support Christe Woodall's Healing Journey

For those that are wondering what's going on with Christe Woodall here goes. It's a long one. This past Friday we went to Columbus to Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was dealing with severe headaches, body aches, nausea, fatigue, no strength to hardly walk, and couldn't eat. They all kind of test and blood work and found her sodium level extremely low at 114. Potassium was low also but not as bad. We found out low sodium can cause seizures, strokes, and all the symptoms she was having. They got her sodium levels back to normal which is between 135 and 145. She was feeling alot better. She was released to go home Monday evening. Made it home and everything was fine. Shortly later she got overwhelmed by looking at all her new medicines and started having a hard time breathing and we figured it was her anxiety kicking in because she calmed down and seemed fine. She told me to go to bed and get some rest and Zac was going to sit up with her and watch over her and they were going to watch a movie. I went to sleep around 10 and Zac woke me up around 1am with her having trouble breathing and a blood pressure of 174/125. She took another blood pressure pill and shortly afterwards it started coming down. Around 30 minutes later I checked it again and was 186/126 and noticed her pupils dilated and her speech slurring. I dialed 911. The ambulance was there within 30 minutes. By that time she'd become unresponsive. Ambulance pickup her up and carried to Holmes County Hospital to meat life flight where they flew her to UMC. I've been told her lungs seized. She been intubated since the helicopter ride. We're hoping she can come off the vent today. She's been conscious since Wednesday and knows who people are and can answer yes or no questions by shaking her head. Her cognitive function came back yesterday like squeezing your hand and wiggle your toes on command. She tries her best to talk to me with her tube in but I can't hardly read lips and she get so frustrated. My girl is tuff and she's hanging in there and is actually improving faster than expected by doctors given her condition. So there it is and I hope she doesn't hate me for putting this out there but her friends and loved ones deserve to know. Please keep her in your Prayers and they mean more than you know.
