Support Christiana Adams Hole-in-Heart Operation !

35-year-old Christiana Adams, a mother of two (2) from Ghana, have been diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), a Hole-in-Heart in the heart's upper chambers. This is presently causing the right side of the heart to swell with possible fluid gathering in the lungs due to the ASD condition. Several ECG and Echocardiogram scans and tests have been run to confirm the diagnosis. A Right Heart Catheterization procedure was recently done to check the pressures in the heart and lungs, costing $500. Doctors have revealed that the tensions in the heart and lungs are relatively okay. The next step will be to perform surgery to close the hole, which will cost $6,000 (about £5,000 equivalent) at the National Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra, Ghana. Christiana and her husband, Courage Alomatu, are therefore seeking assistance from generous persons and organisations to help them realise the amount for the surgery/Operation to be performed as soon as possible.
