Support Christina McSweeney's Chemo Treatment

Donation protected
Christina McSweeny, age 38, is a loving daughter, sister, and single mother of 3 girls (and two cats) who recently experienced a medical emergency. In October 2022, a medical professional discovered that Christina had a brain tumor affecting her memory and speech and she underwent surgery to remove it. The surgery was successful, however, the road to recovery will be long. Christina’s immune system is extremely compromised and she currently faces months of chemotherapy and physical therapy treatment. In these early stages of recovery after surgery, Christina is showing optimism and is ready to take on the next steps to heal. Members of her immediate family are stepping in to help, but Christina and her family are urgently hoping to receive additional funds to cover unanticipated expenses.

All of Christina’s children are still attending elementary school and high school. Christina’s youngest daughter is 8 years old. The news of Christina’s medical emergency has struck the family hard and all 3 girls are working above and beyond to take care of one another during this extremely difficult time. Christina’s oldest child, age 19, has nearly completed high school and is taking a lead role in supporting her mother.

Christina’s children are extremely bright and caring. The oldest has remarkable skills in foraging and caring for her family. She also has a deep passion for reading. Kadence is also very bright and committed to the well-being of her family. Layla, the youngest, is extremely kind and sensitive to the needs of others.

Christina and her daughters would greatly benefit from extra funds to cover the financial costs of rides to and from doctors’ appointments and to buy household items, including groceries. Additionally, the family would like to be able to have funds to spend on food, car repairs and other basic items.

Any donation you can give would be extremely valuable to the McSweeney family. The shocking news has affected the whole family and having extra funds during this difficult time would mean the world to them and to the community members who care deeply about them.
