Hi all, my name is Dawn Clayton I am setting up this go Fund me for the Rueck family who I have had the honor of knowing for the past 7 years. The Rueck Family is not just friends, but they have become family to me and to think of what they are going through right now breaks

my heart and I’m hoping this small gesture will help ease some of their burdens.

The Rueck Family lives in Howell, NJ and truly are one of a kind. They are the kindest, most supportive people you’ll ever meet. They will give you the shirt off their back if you need it and now they need the support of their community, family and friends to get them through these trying times.

On 2/13 The Rueck family world was rocked when routine bloodwork turned into so much more. 1 pediatrician visit, 2 different hospitals visits and 3 blood tests later, they were all showing abnormal markers, all which were pointing to their son Christopher who was 10 yrs old at the time having Leukemia. 1 bone marrow biopsy and 7 days later, they were hit hard with the reality that their precious boy will be battling cancer. On 2/20 they got the news that no parents ever wants to hear, their son Christopher has Acute Myeloid Leukemia. At that very moment their worlds came crashing down. Since being diagnosed Christopher has been at St. Peter’s University hospital and has had extensive chemo treatments along with blood transfusions, spinal taps and so much more. No-one should ever have to go through what this boy is going through. He even recently celebrated his 11th birthday in the hospital. Christopher continues to get treatment at St. Peter’s University hospital and some how Christopher continues to have a good attitude through it all. To know him is to love him, his smile lights up a room.
