Support Maiya King-Zenker During this Tragic Time

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share devastating news about Cienna’s daughter Maiya, in hopes that you will join us in supporting them through this incredibly difficult time.

On August 31st Cienna’s 17-year-old daughter Maiya was involved in a horrific car accident in Mission Viejo. She was the passenger in a vehicle that struck a signal pole and burst into flames. Thankfully, someone who saw the crash was able to pull Maiya and the driver from the car before it was completely engulfed. Maiya was taken to the hospital with severe injuries, then transported to a more suitable hospital to treat her substantial burns. She spent the first 3 days sedated and intubated. She has 2 broken ankles, a broken arm, 3rd degree burns to her face, scalp and legs, along with damage to her lungs, liver & stomach. She has already undergone multiple surgeries for the broken bones as well as the burns to her face & scalp. Maiya is currently in the ICU and will continue to be hospitalized for weeks, after which she will have an extensive rehab process to heal and overcome her injuries. Cienna has taken a leave of absence from work to be able to be with Maiya during this process. This is something no parent should have to face, and no teenager should have to experience.

This has taken a substantial toll on their family both emotionally and financially. Right now, we are hoping to help her mother & stepfather Cienna & Dustin with some financial assistance to help cover their immediate expenses, as well as expenses related to her treatment and care.
