Support Cierra in her battle with Leukemia
Donation protected
I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia
as of September 20, 2019. While this came as a
shock at first, it started to make more sense
due to my constant lack of energy, major fatigue,
extreme body aches and weight loss. Many people aren't up to date on my current
health state since then, so just for those who would like
to know, I'm no longer in remission. I was in
"remission" from October 2020 until
November 2021 when test results for my
WBC (white blood cells) came back with a
significant jump. I had been feeling extra
fatigued and nauseous a few months prior to
this news and so the doctors made the best
decision for my health by putting me back on
disability in December 2021. After further
testing, we learned the oral chemo pill i've
been taking for almost two years is no longer
working. Starting the beginning of February
2022, I started a new oral chemo treatment
regimen which is one pill twice a day and it
has been rough to say the least. If this
treatment doesn't bring me back into
remission, the last option I have is to do
rounds of IV chemo and get a bone marrow
biopsy (when a match would be found) That
is last resort and I pray I don't have to go
through that however no matter what storm
comes my way, I will always pull through.
During this time, I just ask that you pray for
me and my family as we all go through this
tough time together. Some fundraisers will be
going on just to help keep me afloat and in
front of any more expenses that come my
way. With that being said the bills Itypically pay, I can no longer make so this will be
going towards all of that including any extra costs
(gas for appointments, medicines, proper
food/vitamins, etc) Whatever is donated means absolutely THE
WORLD. Prayers are extremely appreciated and
needed for myself and my family as this is another complete shock and out of nowhere. Thank you
from the bottom of my heart and god bless.
